Lovely great hidden jem of a pub with friendly staff serving a great pint. This pub is tucked away in Mill Street, Dolgellau and is a fantastic old stone built pub with a cosey bar at the front and a larger room at the rear including a pool table. Seating is available outside. This pub does not serve food. Pub is dog friendly, clean, comfortable and welcoming.
Cheap and cheerful pub. That plays the sports on telly, pool table and darts board. Definitely go again. Bar tender and locals were friendly.
No food served here but says you can take your own in, which is handy as there is a chippy around the corner..
Brilliant traditional old school pub. Great atmosphere, very friendly service (was made to feel very welcome by the landlady) and a lovely pint. Really is a throwback pub in the best possible way. Had a game of darts with the missus. My favourite pub in dol'.. Highly recommended.. Especially if you're into your pubs.. ???? ????????????????????????????
Popped in for a pint. Played some darts. Very old building/history. A few flies zipping around the lights. Juicy Pale Ale was nice. Gin and Tonic in a standard glass, lacking love. Dog friendly.
Really nice throwback pub. Decent ales and drink selection. Didn’t have food here so unsure if they provide any.
Like going back to the 70's, but don't let that put you off. A great display of dart and cricket paraphernalia and trophies. One revolving ale on, which is kept very well (had a Citra, can't remember the brewery, and a blonde from Bragdy Conwy). Friendly customers.
It's OK, not as good as the Yr Unicorn far better Guinness, at least you get a smile or a chat.
Best pub in town, always a great atmosphere set by the cracking bunch of locals. The staff are a nice bunch and there's always a revolving door of lovely real ales. If you're looking for a real pub experience, this is the place to go.
