Have had a visit recently for a cooling drinks in heat locally to my house. A very lovely outside seating area with and without shade which I have enjoyed very much seating together with my little boy. I do love that the pub is kids friendly! Good service on the bar and a lovely selection of drinks and food to have dinner. I would definitely recommend to go have a dinner and a drink in a nice sunny day ! Thank you for a good service
We've been coming here more often now that Wayne has taken over. A big friendly pub with loads of character and characters. Professional and friendly staff with our drinks waiting on the bar when we arrive. We like real ale and must say, it is spot on every time. Arnold hasn't got many good pubs but the Cross Keys is definitely one to visit. Ignore the bad reviews and make up your own mind.
Went in there again after years I wouldn’t say I have been in there since before lock down just to find out this new management is absolutely horrible ordered a all day breakfast and was
Disgusting the sausage was cold and pale and the bacon was dry and chewy the products used are obviously a lot cheaper then they was before I asked who was cooking just to find out the lovely scouse woman that use to work in the kitchen is no longer there and then when buying a drink at the bar the blonde lady was awfuly rude when telling me she was out of the drink I wanted and was just incredibly cheeky smirking at the other staff and giggling at me I am 100% not going back in there again I am appalled
First time for breakfast burgers, it is very nice and delicious.
Was an OK place ???? bit dead for music when I was In. Would go bk I am a returning customer. But not very frequent
The atmosphere and music was good however the staff were very rude especially the woman behind the bar definitely not going here again
Currently sitting in Cross Keys, Arnold after having had 'The Full Works' breakfast.
This included 2 bacon (thick cut) 2 Cumberland sausages, mushrooms, tomato, 2 fried eggs, large side of beans, 2hash browns, 2 slices of toast & butter.
All for £7 (only £1.50 more than traditional, so worth having!)
It was lovely, I'm now so full! Good size cups of tea / coffee for only £1.
I'm also seat dancing & singing along to the great 80s music (my era!)
All in all a great experience. We'll be back soon!!
