Had a great stay at Crockers for my birthday. We booked the chefs table and I must say service was super attentive and friendly but not overbearing. The food was just delicious. The rooms were super cosy and spacious. Personally I think that their charm would be best enjoyed in the colder months - when you can cosy up inside and enjoy the bathtub in the room. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing food at the Thames table. We always have a brilliant time trying the tasting menu. The atmosphere is really relaxed and friendly, the food tastes incredible and the staff are all very welcoming. Highly recommend!
Can only give Crockers FIVE STARS! Wonderful food (we have the evening tasting menu) and superbly comfortable stay in The Quarters. … those beds are just so comfy! We had breakfast in what was their Grill, which was delicious and kept us going throughout our long travel home. Can’t wait to go back to eat in their new restaurant Ember. Top tip: their takeaway during lockdown was fab too - great food with easy to follow instructions! 10/10 all around ❤️
Absolutely fabulous dinner/wine pairing. The tasting menu is a must. Chefs Alex and Liam, and Emma gave us a culinary experience we will never forget. Thank you!!!
Decent but overrated
An old basic rule broken by an overambitious chef. Same colour for two different servings on the same plate is an absolute 'no no'. Consequently I regard the menu as amateur at a professional price. Staff polite and courteous. However, equally amateur. Too many dirty plates laying about on bar. Does the 3rd photo remind you of a dog's bowl?
A delicious yet discreet restaurant that was elegant in setting, friendly in service, and simply fantastic in combining interesting and unusual flavours together. A very appetising menu, we would love to return to try their chefs table tasting menu!
Amazing food! Loved the scallops! Great people. Really lovely place. Was over for a weekend from the Netherlands and had a great little stop here.
Henley is so lucky to have a restaurant like Crockers! We’ve sat sat both The Chefs Table and also in Ember. Both are absolutely fantastic but undoubtedly The Chefs Table is our favourite! We suggest having the wine pairings too ????.
