Best KPortal Reviews

Just want to leave a positive review about the young sounding gentleman that answered my call this morning to book an appointment. He was so pleasant to talk to and came through very positive and comforting on the phone. I know it can’t be easy taking calls for a GP surgery as a lot people seem to take their frustration out on reception and they deserve some recognition.
I’ve rang up this morning, queued no.50 eventually after waiting, someone answered the phone and that receptionist who answered the phone was shouting and screaming at me pretending she could not hear me! Then hanged up! I’m so disappointed with this doctor surgery by employing those uneducated, unprofessional and rude people who does not know how to talk to their clients properly on the phone! This is not the first time they've done this to me! If you are not capable of doing your jobs why go to work? I never felt so humiliated and for that, I shall make a formal complain.
Rang this morning for an appointment and spoke to a nice young chap. He was very friendly and helpful. Managed to get an appointment for this afternoon and Dr Devaraja was lovely. Very friendly, reassuring and helpful. I know it’s difficult trying to get through and frustrating when you are in a long queue however that’s not the fault of the staff. I’ve always been treated very well by all staff at the practice and have never had any issues.
I have had to visit the surgery 3 times this year, which has been the first time in over a decade or indeed since they moved, so with no expectations I was delighted by the all round service. Waiting times on the phone were not too bad and both the doctors I have seen and the reception staff (including the car check-in lady) have been professional, polite and understanding. With the horror stories you hear of NHS doctor surgeries both in parking and getting appointments, I have had no issues whatsoever on each of the 3 occasions. The parking has been good and the surgery has been well kept, clean, airy and spacious. Maybe I have been fortunate, but I can say nothing but positive things about this surgery in my visits and give them nothing but praise in what I am sure can be a very demanding job in all aspects of surgery running.
I came to surgery this afternoon to make an appointment. After a short wait in the queue I was helped .ADDY was friendly ,helpful and polite.
She made a phone call appointment for me.. I was still in surgery when Dr called me and after asking few questions ,she made a face to face appointment for 45 minutes later.
I was seen by Dr Claire Cooper.she was professional, polite and understanding.
Please change the system so non urgent appointments can be made in advance and those needing urgent on the day appointments can get through. Ive been trying for 2 days to get a non urgent appointment to no avail. My doctor is only in on certain days so its going to take a couple of weeks I think. I actually got through twice today at 8am and 10 past - but got cut off and then permanently engaged until got through at no 49 but had to go to work. My elderly mother no longer calls leaving it to several relatives to try all at once - further blocking up the system! :(
9/10 I have a positive experience if I do need to contact this drs. Once or twice I have encountered someone who is perhaps new that didn’t know how to help. Usually however the receptionists are generally very kind and helpful. Have called late in the day before and even if there isn’t an app with a dr they have always suggested other solutions. Such a better experience than with my previous surgery, in what is a very hard job and hard time for the NHS.
Congratulations to the med centre who clearly don't look at someone's records before threatening to refuse to authorise medication. My son who has multiple issues managed by several hospitals, including for his type 1 diabetes has not had a diabetes review at the surgery. This is not deliberate but has to be fitted in with the numerous other
appointments that he has and his diabetes is very well managed . How long does
surgery think someone can live if refused their insulin!?
