Comfortable, home from home. Debbie couldn't do enough for us. After travelling all day house hunting she made us so very welcome and made us a meal. Cooked breakfast was included and all in all a great place to stay. The room was large and well equipped, huge bathroom and plenty of space for a family. Dogs welcomed too. So good we stayed another night.
Great little Hotel. Great food and room and lovely staff and locals in the bar. Very dog friendly. Could not do enough for us. Food was hot and fresh and the garden on a warm evening was bliss. So peaceful. We will be back|
Stayed recently for the weekend and would love to return. The building has been standing for over 250 years and it is charming. Stayed in the large suite which is very roomy, warm and comfortable.
Excellent value for money, and in such a beautiful part of the world.
I stayed for one night as I was on a work trip. Very easy to find and a lovely friendly welcome. The pub is cosy and like a home from home. the room was lovely, clean, comfortable and had everything you’d need. En suite shower room, kettle, microwave, decent TV with firestick access, free WiFi, and most important a comfy bed. It is also dog friendly and although I didn’t have my dogs with me I’ll be coming back for a longer stay with them to explore the area. Easy access to the A75, if you are travelling that way definitely worth a stop over or longer stay, the breakfast was delicious and Debbie and Dave were the perfect hosts. Highly recommend
Last minute booking for a night away with the husband and our dog, and Craighlaw Hotel did not disappoint. Super friendly hosts who make you feel so welcome. Lovely spacious room and comfy bed. We'll definitely go back again next time we visit that area of Scotland!
The best places to stay make you feel at home and The Craighlaw Arms does that from the moment you walk in. The hosts - Dave and Debbie - are friendly, and it’s a cosy and welcoming place. Our room was a great place to relax and rest after a long drive. Dave cooked a fabulous Thai curry I can recommend. A great start to our holiday.
Fabulous quirky Hotel, great hosts, dog friendly, no restaurant but meals by request. Very good bar used by locals who were very friendly. Beautiful garden. Will stay there again as it's only 40 mins from the Cairnryan
Debbie and Dave are a lovely hardworking couple who have looked after us for the last 5 years that we have been coming here. The meals are absolutely gorgeous. The views from the bedrooms are stunning and beds are really comfy and we'll be back next year. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Thank you for your time and service. Brenda, Stu, Ben & Jack
