Stopped for a cream tea, as you should when in town. Despite the popularity of the place we were invited to take a seat and somebody will be with you shortly. Scones cooked to order and were delicious as they were still warm. Yum yum. Total pleasure. PS , thanks for the hug. Have fun.
We visited this restaurant for lunch with friends and it was great. Located above the sandy beaches overlooking St Michael's Mount, this is a spacious restaurant that mainly serves seafood. It has seating in and out and dog friendly. We went for a variety of dishes, and all of them were well prepared and taste was spot on. The pricing was reasonable and in par with rest of the town. We enjoyed the food and the visit, highly recommended!
Nice cappuccino in front of the St Michael’s mount. Nice views. Giving 3 stars as there is no clear explanation in the place to know that you need to go inside, order yourself and pay if you want to have service.
It was a bit confusing to start with, you have to go inside, order and pay at the bar with your table number, but they were very pleasant.
The food was amazing (easily the best we had in three days in Cornwall). We had very good thick smoked salmon on sour dough bread with capers, mackerel pâté, and sardines on buttered toast. We could not get over how good it was. Not only that, but we asked where they got the capers from, and they bothered to find out for us.
We had to phone them later about something, and they were very helpful and rang back when they said they would, so props for that too.
Views of St Michael's Mount in the mist, 10/10.
Came here for a coffee and buttered scone one Sunday morning. There was no menu made available to us. The coffees were not sufficiently hot, took some time to arrive and had drunk them before the nice warm scone was delivered to our table. The head waitress was quite officious whilst trying to keep up with increasing demands for orders and service.
Amidst the confusion of customers queuing up for tables and waiting to order, we awaited our bill which we queried because it totalled over £12. I discovered, on asking, that a service charge had been added and the price of a scone with butter was £4.50. I consider this to be extremely over priced and cheeky
We won’t be going there again sadly. We are local residents.
Craby's gave us a Warm welcome even with our four legged friend. The food was beautiful, especially the mussels and the sauce was just spectacular full of flavour, mopped up with fresh bread and the views aren't bad too.
We had a very nice refreshing break after the visit to St Michel Mount enjoining the rising of the tide in the afternoon. Friendly staff, great view and lovely background music. Highly raccommanded! If you go to visit St Michael's Mount it deserves a stop!
