I was away for the weekend with my family and we decided to try Coxhoe Corner for our takeaway night.
The gentleman who took our order over the phone sounded so happy and friendly. When my dad finished the call, I even commented on how nice he was!
My husband and I went to collect our food and the gentleman had made sure all of our orders were in separate bags. I could tell it was him who took our order over the phone as he was just smiling away and super pleasant to talk to.
When we sat down to our meals, we were all very impressed. It is one of the best Indian's I have had in a very LONG TIME.
I had a mixed plain curry with keema rice and a cheese naan. The flavours were beautiful and the meat was so tender and tasty.
We are prepared to travel the half an hour just to get another one, one night!
WOW ! Now I know why it's recommended so much . Made an order , on the phone . Lovely fella on the line .. told will be ready in an hour . On a Saturday. Somewhere to sit comfortably when you get there . Food on time , and hot ! Everything was perfect , mixed platter was gorgeous best Sheesh I have had . Not oily or greasy at all ... Would also highly recommend, we will definitely make this our stop for an Indian meal when the taste for it hits again ! Thank you !
Best food in County Durham. Quite easily tops nearly every Indian restaurant I’ve been to (which is a lot). Kebabs are better than the kebab shop. Highly recommended. 10/10
Fabulous food quite unexpected as the place looks quite stark and dull. 5 star hygeine rating always my first priority but this is best induan food we've had. Recommend the meat thali. Only problem is..book ahead because they are always very busy and booked up before it even opens. Also parking is tricky
Divine! ???? long wait but well worth it. I can't imagine another Indian out doing this one. Very fresh, flavoursome and meat tender. If you haven't been you're missing out.
Coxhoe corner never fail me top service top food, I get one at least once a week ????
Fabulous food, rich and tasty! Only downside is they don't deliver but, they're so worth the drive to pick up! X
Excellent, I’ve had a few takeaways from here now and they’ve always been really good. Nice quality and reasonably priced. Recommended.
