Thank you for looking after me. I was worried about buying my first car. But thank you so much for all your help before and after my purchase. 3 months in and my renegade is lovely and I am so happy.
Fair to say I’ve had my moneys worth with the AA these past 8 months! Bought a car from this place and from day one had issues! 6 breakdowns later, I can still say it’s not sorted! Dave refused to give me a refund after the electrics burn out on the starter motor twice!! After freaking my 8 year out not once, but twice! In the 8 months I’ve had it, the garage has had it more than I’ve drove it. In November when it last broke down, again I asked for a buy back as it was still in the 6months period and by law have to do! (By this point I had paid for the part to be fixed! Just because I wanted it sorted). But surprise, surprise! It was a no! And after hearing many lovely stories from Dave, & false promises, we came to a deal that he would fix it and sell it, as my daughters where to scared to get in it because of the previous burning smells! To an 8 year old all she knows is the car was on fire!! But Dave had his money and really wasn’t bothered! Leaving me stuck without a car for 4 months, I was spending £40 per week on public transportation because of my job, with little to no response from Dave! Finally 2 weeks ago I get a phone call to say it was fixed! And I said that’s good! Please sell it and let me know when I can have the money back! Surprise surprise again, Dave went back on his word and refused to sell it! After he agreed too, even though he had my V5 and keys as he made a great excuse he couldn’t sell it without the V5, so I gave it to him and still had to wait a month.
Long story short! After a heated phone call saying he didn’t want anything to do with me or the car again, and making me feel like I’m the bad guy, I had to take the car back. I ran it for 4 days!! Until it broke down again!! I am not surprised to be honest…. But pretty scary when you’re on the by pass at 60mph and it cuts out, and the burning smell is back! So now it’s stuck outside my house! As useful as a garden gnome! And £1800 out of pocket!! Literally not even a week of having it back!! After them having it for 4months!!
I wouldn’t recommend ever !! I seriously wouldn’t be getting a car from here! They Never get back to you, and you have to do all the chasing! Extremely happy to help until money has changed hands!

After purchasing a vw from here I noticed an oil leak. After a lot of searching Dave sorted the problem out. He also found a water leak which he also sorted out well Happy with the service
Great garage, I've been using them for years for mot and services on multiple cars. Can't fault them at all.
Excellent service! Friendly, informative and extremely reliable! Always keeps me up to date with the progress of any work being done on the car and any problems have been resolved within a matter of days if not the same day. Dave is fantastic and I would never consider going to any other garage for any sorts of repairs or to buy another car, thank you so much!
I made a phone appointment to test drive a car, but when I arrived at the dealership, I was informed that the car had already been sold without any prior notice. I was very disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism. As a customer, I believe it's important to be informed of any changes to my appointment. This experience has left a negative impression on me, and I would not recommend this dealership to others.
Cannot rate Dave and his team enough service and MOT done at a very reasonable rate.
Professional honesty and reliable, can highly recommend would not tske my car anywhere else.
When i first booked with them a full service and MOT the were honest enough to advise thst due to mileage on part service would be required...they dont fleece you.

I can’t recommend Cowley Hill Motors enough! I bought my car from them over 4 years ago now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for servicing, MOT’s and any other car needs. They’re friendly, honest, attentive and try to be as accommodating as possible to whatever I need. It’s hard to find a good, trustworthy car garage but Cowley Hill Motors is definitely one of them!
