Ordered for the first time in a year and was very impressed the portion size was huge nice chips fresh and excellent value for money why on earth some places charge over £5 a portion when these were just over £2 is beyond me
One of the few I like, very fair prices, friendly service.
Generous portion sizes, all food was cooked fresh in front of me whilst I waited. Curry sauce was nice, and chips were good too. Only improvement suggestion would be to remove skin on fish before battering it. £12 for 2 large chips 2 battered sausages a large cod and curry sauce was extremely fairly priced.
On the first day of September I ordered three pies and a large portion of chips. one of the pies was obviously reheated from lunch time, it was as dry as a bone hot on the inside and cold on the outside. I will never step foot in the takeaway again. They obviously knew what they were doing, I would recommend going to the take away at Morrisons.
Good quality food. Service was slightly lacking with a large number of people waiting for orders that had been sat waiting for a while. Could do with better lighting as it was quite dark and front lights were out.
They do make great food but be prepared to wait for it. The last 4 times I've been my food has been late. On the last visit I was told 10mins and best part of 40mins later we got our food, no sorry for the wait which would have helped.. But hey, even with the wait times I still keep going back so that says something about the food!
Arrived and placed my order, as expected. Told that it would be 5-10 minutes. 33 minutes later, I went back inside, (having been told to wait outside), and asked what the heck was taking so long. They didn't even apologise, just said they were waiting for chips.
Eventually, my order was ready and I dashed off home to enjoy my Chinese. It tasted really nice. Unfortunately, my special fried rice had devolved into gooey noodles. I have no intention of driving back another 2.6 miles just to be disappointed again.
Absolute disaster
Decent Chinese takeaway. Chips are good too.
Wouldn't be surprised if there was a better one for my tastes, but these guys are consistent in what they produce. Never had a bad meal
