I have stayed at Monkton Court on a number of different occasions and have dined here for several events. Every time I have been beyond impressed by the kindness and generosity of the staff as well as the high quality of service that I have received. The food is exceptional (everyone must try the rice pudding) and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I will continue to stay and dine here, and will recommend this establishment to everyone who asks.
Cara was such a lovely,warm host.The accommodation was STUNNING.
If I ever need a stop over again,I will DEFINITELY be using and RECOMMENDING To book with Cara.. NOTHING was too much trouble,its dog friendly which was /is brilliant.
I only stayed overnight with my Husband and Daughter,and our dog...and we would of loved to have stayed longer.
Lovely place to stay while visiting family nearby. Lovely owners and staff, very helpful. Very comfortable. Eggcellent breakfast made with humour, as you can see!
My 4th day into a seven day stay and it's been absolutely fabulous! Got treated to a rendition of Pachebel's Canon in D by a fellow guest who knew his way around the huge piano by the bar. A really well looked after accommodation!
West Country hospitality at its very best. A beautiful period property with modern conveniences. Four Poster Beds, Open Fireplaces, Flat Screen TV's and WiFi. The restaurant is worth a visit on its own.
Stopped here on the way to a sky diving day. Staff were pleasant despite our late arrival, the room we stayed in was clean and tidy but a bit run down in places with parts of the 4 poster held on with cable ties
