An amazing vegan choice....not a place to visit if you are on a diet ????
Unfortunately, the staff were really rude. We arrived half an hour before closing time, after we ordered and wanted to sit down, they warned us that they would be closing soon, they were pulling faces about why we set down and why we were eating in instead of takeaway. We were disappointed with the customer service, it was a bad experience.
Sourdough is a joke, shouldn’t be allowed to call it sourdough. Worse than cardboard.
Great coffee, super fresh rolls and sandwiches. But the sausage rolls have gone down hill, the sausage meat quality is definitely not as good, also the price has gone up.
I would expect a fresh product when paying £1.70 for a shortbread cookie. The one I bough is stale, hard and tastes awful. There was a good selection of sausage rolls, but not sure I want to try them now.
I absolutely love this place. The staff are so friendly, the food (sweet and savory) is delicious and a lot of vegan options. Thanks so much for being open (with well needed restrictions of course) during covid. I have recommended the food here to so many people.
The steak pastie had no real pieces of meat in, shredded up with a unpleasant sauce. Very overpriced!!!! £3.75

Good local bakery where you can sit and eat in or just outside the door if you want. Freshly baked bread and hot pasties, sausage rolls, bacon rolls etc, will make sandwiches for you to eat in or take away. Selection of cakes and pastries too. Offers a cake making service, with some on display. Has a toilet for customers use but you need to get a key to use it. Usually cheerful service, but can get busy on a weekend, and so sometimes they look a little stressed!
