Came back here after years of not visiting Ammanford (used to live here). Can’t believe the ladies toilets still haven’t been changed/fixed, still in a dingy state and locks/toilet seats broken.
Good atmosphere in the evenings, gets very busy. Music is loud, not for everyone.

Popped in on a whim because we were staying down the road. Really good portions, at a very reasonable price. Staff were friendly and meal was fab. Only downside was there was quite a long wait for food, but we did go in on quiz night so that might be why!
Great food and drink, just a bit on the expensive side.
Staff seem fairly grumpy, toilets have been dingy for years now despite changing once or twice.
The pub itself is beautiful, and drinks were served to a high standard (quickly, not flat or watery etc).
I'm giving 5 starts as its a nice pub that everyone collects to on the weekend. The only issue is £4.50 pints which we'd only find normal in Cardiff. If it wasn't for the friday/Saturday night appeal they couldn't charge close to this
We had food there, it was without doubt the worst Steak i have ever had. Plus side the service was good.
Might be back for a beer, i will never eat here again.
Decent pub quiz, foods okay at best. Decor feels so so old!! Service is average. Lucky there are no real competitors for now
