My wife and I came here with our 18 month year old and the staff were really great. They didn’t have any colouring in sheets so went to the effort of printing some out especially. The food came quickly. I would highly recommend the minute steak on the specials menu. It’s worth sitting towards the patio for the extra light since the back of the restaurant appeared a little dark
Been to other Cote Restaurants with in London, this being my first out side of town.
Very much liked the deco, very pleasant staff, loved the choice of wine on offer but I felt the a la cart menu lacking
There was also 21 very steep steps up to the rest room which was a struggle o to the old legs.
disappointed with my favorite onion soup - I was looking forward to a nice piece of baguette with melted cheese on top - but it was something hard rubbery -little cheesy-probably heated in the microwave insted of using grill
CLOSED! Last Sunday i’m sure was open and serving. November 1st has all signage removed and chains on the door. :-(. Too bad, was mum’s favourite lunch spot.
My favourite place for breakfast lunch and dinner in Dorking! It never disappoints! Even when I get the same dishes over and over.
Just had a lovely evening. Not knowing what to expect we were delighted with the quality and authenticity of the French style food. The service was exceptional with a young Romanian waiter of unusual skill and charm. The proprietor also was warm, friendly, caring and professional.
All in all, an evening to remember and a venue to thoroughly recommend.
Thank you to all concerned.
Pamela Barnard.
Gorgeous food. Lovely atmosphere. Welcoming and friendly staff. My mum and I felt great after our lunch here. We had the lunch haddock and French onion soup. We will definitely return. Thank you.
Food was nice but service was bad. Waitress was abrupt, didn't make eye contact, bordered on rude, no pleases and thank yous (ie when I passed her the menu etc.), she made us feel like we irritated her... We noticed she was like it with other customers too. Such a shame as we love Côte. I recommend the Haywards Heath branch as their staff are exceptional. So friendly and kind and lovely!
