As a costa barista myself, i’m disappointed. i asked for a WHITE hot chocolate with a shot of coffee. Instead i got a normal hot chocolate that was so pale with barely any chocolate powder in it, with a ridiculous amount of bubbles and froth, along with the milk being terribly burnt. It wasn’t even filled to the top. My friend got a coffee frappe which was done well but the whipped cream tasted off and it was lumpy. The girl who served me had an attitude , no smile or politeness whatsoever. won’t be coming back
This Costa is a weird. Like it’s got this indescribable quality. Considering how close it is to the station, it’s always so incredibly quiet. At times, I’ve sat in this Costa for hours and barely seen anyone else come in. I also have a theory that this Costa is used to train staff because the staff keep changing, like every few weeks it’s a brand new member of staff behind the counter. Either that or they treat their staff so badly that there’s ridiculous levels of staff turnover(?)
It’s Costa, so you can’t expect much from the food. Plus there’s no plug sockets in this Costa so you can’t work from here for very long. Maybe that’s a good thing though because if I worked there all day I wouldn’t eat. Usually when I work from here I hyperfocus for a few hours and then when my laptop dies I’m forced to go home and feed myself.
I'm still gonna give this costa my usual four stars though because it's perfectly pleasant, you can almost always get the best seat, and semi regularly there’s a group of people who hang out here playing Scrabble. When they’re there then the vibes are significantly better.
Great little costa coffee shop tucked away in the heart of Haywards Heath. Exceptional service and the staff is always warm and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere and to it all off, the flat white is always on point:))
Quiet place,similar ro all "Costa" coffees, the staff is always new guys not very experienced and lots of them are now learning. But they try hard. There is parking on the street but it's not especially for "Costa" so it's difficult to park your car there. The place is clean ,the music is not very loud so it's perfect for reading or working on your computer.
There was utter filth in this shop and the service was so slow that the first coffee they made was cold by the time the 3rd one arrived. So dirty and staff had no ideas how to run that shop.
Refused to give me my change in pound coins, not because they lacked pound coins, but as a policy to deter people coming in from the launderette opposite. I was very surprised. But it turns out you can get a nicer coffee in a nicer environment (and change in pound coins, should you desire this) from "Peckish" 20m away.
Nice costa not such a busy store other than at lunchtime. Just be cautious here because staff don’t make drinks right - I live locally and there’s been times I’ve got home taken the lid off and marched straight back there for them to re make the drink. Always short staffed slow service.
Quiet Costa but a great large cappuccino and fresh cinnamon bun. Nice seating currently relaxing in a gorgeous leather sofa.
