Unfortunately Costa have decided to not let dogs in anymore, which is a shame as it was a lovely place for dog owners to meet. Looks like we’ll be going to Starbucks instead
Lovely friendly staff, there is a really nice atmosphere and with this Costa allowing dogs, its a nice option for the many local dog owners that only had Starbucks as a dog frindly option. our little dog loves going in as he always gets a nice welcome from the staff.
Extremely disappointed that you have decided to ban dogs from going inside your store as from tomorrow. It is a very popular store with dog owners and I think you are making a big mistake and this will have a considerable impact on your takings. Whenever I have been in all the dogs have been extremely well behaved. I for one will not be visiting in the future and I expect other dog owners will also make the same decision on principle.
Loved going here, all the benefits of Costa with the bonus of them permitting dogs inside. Found out they are now banning dogs. Don't know why as lots of people take their dogs and they are all well behaved. I won't go again. They are going to lose lots of customers.
Been here many times with our dog, as many other customers have, and there’s never been an issue with us taking our dog inside, with the friendly staff regularly making a fuss of our little pooch… Today however we were asked to leave because they don’t allow dogs anymore. There are tables outside to sit at, but only one with a parasol, and it gets really hot in the sun so if they’re expecting dog owners to use the outside space, some more shady seating will be required. Also no water bowls for dogs anywhere in sight.
A real shame, I fear this branch will lose a lot of its custom over this decision to ban dogs. We certainly won’t visit as often as we have.
Oh and on a side note - get your opening times right! When we’ve called in during the afternoons there’s been more than one occasion where we’ve been told you’re closing soon, at 5 on a Sunday and 6 on a Saturday when the door sign clearly states otherwise. And according to Google you’re open til 8pm!!
Wish I could review the food, service and atmosphere but even though it advertises online and on the front door that they open at 7am on Sundays, it turns out that it is only for the drive thru and it isn't made clear anywhere that this is the case... Me and my family couldn't come in for breakfast at 7:30am. Went to Macdonalds next door which was properly opened as advertised...
A good place to chill out and enjoy a coffee. I just wish people would tidy up after themselves or staff were quick to clear the tables.
Beautiful store, new with very up to date decor. I was served by the lovely barista Ella. Ella made sure my drink was made to my liking (I’m quite fussy with my drinks and she was very patient and read my order back to ensure it was to my tasting) absolutely lovely girl who made my day and took the time to have a conversation with me when I was having a bad day. She honestly needs some recognition. I will be back just because of Ella’s customer service, the other staff were lovely also.
I have just received excellent service from a lady called Chelsea. Kind, courteous and pleasant. Thank you!
