Shop says open 24 hrs but the worker states not open. She said restocking and will take 20 mins, so we decided to stay. After few mins she came and said it will take more than 20 minutes. I am not sure if this is true, we just needed hot drinks but I guess Costa needs to investigate this location. Only experience but a worse one. Came from US, that's good it's not my occasional route.

Since covid I been using my own mug and Costa has started issues extra Reward bean the “Green one” in this place I been given dirty looks for politely asking for it, main in London and in other motorway services always I’m having this Disgusting attitude for no apparent reason I really don’t understand why it’s this paying 3.60 for cup not even getting a thank you at least shameful shameful shameful Costa what matters with your staff guys

Rudest barrister ever. Didn’t even look at me or acknowledge me when I came to the counter. Spoke to me like I was disturbing her evening and an inconvenience to her space. If I could give a 0 star I would.

Big shout out to the two members of staff working though the night on Sunday 27 August. Super friendly and one mopping the floor whilst the other made me a great cup of coffee.

Hard to be chearful at 1.18am but they managed it!

There was such a kind staff member working tonight called Adam. My daughter spilled my coffee and became upset. He came to clean it up and reassured her, letting her know it is was ok and not a problem. He cheered her up by making her laugh and helped her to choose a cake.

That kindness was just what we needed after a long day of travelling.

All good, but lady was smashing 10 pound bag of ice over metal counter continuously, making such a noise that my ears hurt. No wonder no one was sitting there, I've ran away as soon as I got my coffee. Felt like I'm on roadworks not in coffea. Sorry for negative review but had to bring it to your attention as it was riddicoolous in coffea.

My recent encounter with the Costa Blueberry Bubble Frappé and Tropical Mango Bubble Frappé left much to be desired. From the start, it was evident that the excessive ice used in these drinks posed a significant problem. The bubbles, an integral part of the experience, frequently got stuck due to the overwhelming amount of ice. This not only hindered the enjoyment but also disrupted the flow of the beverage.

Additionally, the lack of flavor was a major letdown. Despite the promising names, the blueberry and mango flavors were barely detectable. The excessive ice seemed to dilute any essence of these fruity flavors, leaving me wondering if they were even present at all. It felt like sipping on a bland concoction, devoid of the vibrant taste I had anticipated.

To make matters worse, the drinks had a distressingly watery consistency. It was as if they were prepared without the inclusion of any milk or cream. The absence of a creamy element diminished the overall richness and texture that one expects from a frappé. Instead, I was left with a disappointingly thin and diluted beverage that failed to satisfy my cravings.

In summary, my experience with the Costa Blueberry Bubble Frappé and Tropical Mango Bubble Frappé was far from satisfactory. The bubbles getting stuck due to excessive ice, the lack of flavor, and the watery consistency made these drinks a letdown. I sincerely hope that Costa takes these concerns into consideration and works towards improving the preparation process to deliver a more enjoyable and flavorful experience to their customers.
