Visited for lunch with my Mum and two daughters. The toasted sandwiches were hot and fresh, and hot drinks all fine. But while eating we noticed EVERY single unoccupied table had un-cleared dirty plates, cups, trays, crisp packets etc left. No-one was cleaning and tidying. The couple who came in after us had to move numerous dirty cups from a table just in order to sit down for their drink. My 81 year old Mum went up to tell the staff, and was told 'we're too busy to do that just now'. No - this is not really good enough! It makes a huge difference as a customer walking into a clean and tidy restaurant. I really hope this is a one-off because we like Costa usually.
Walked down from the hotel I was staying in and noticed when driving past that they were freshly brewing all day between 7am and 7pm. The sign on the door though says different and closes at 5pm but you can use the drive through which is a bit difficult as I had no car (Freshly brewing if your in a car then). Door was open though and the staff member was stocking up with food, which interestingly was what I wanted but no wouldnt serve me and told me though that the drive through was open (where they are obviously selling this freshly brewed coffee), but again thanks but I was walking.
I was going to walk through the drive through but the high tech board doesn't show what sandwiches or salads they had only the expensive array of drinks and cakes.
1 stars all round as I dont know sorry except very disappointed and who knows I may have been enticed into buying the 3 slices of mellon for Over £3
Lovely spot feels nice to come in to. The main till wasn't working today which is why I removed a star for service as I had to hand my phone and card over so they could use their drive through till for payment but other than that a nice place to visit. It has toilets including disabled access and has a rinse and refill water station inside free WiFi too. Nice outside seating and comfortable seats inside too with large windows to do some people watching as you enjoy your drink!
A new building so no excuse for being untidy and dirty. Rolls of dust under chairs. Tables full of empty cups. And awful coffee served in massive great cups ☹️ thank goodness the village has well looked after Independents
Been here 4 times now. First time was very slow service and was in the drive thru for about 15 - 20 minutes before we got our drinks but was expected as first week of it being open. Second visit - no faults. Lovely drinks and much quicker! Third time - extremely disappointed. They had ran out of frappe ingredients and decided to leave without getting anything. 4th time - so disappointed, I couldn’t tell you… I had ordered a mango bubble frappe (mainly for the bubbles????) and had no sauce and no bubbles. Very strange taste as well. I’m very disappointed.
Stopped here for a much needed coffee on a long drive! Inside and outside seating. I enjoyed my mocha. Spacious, clean toilets.
Friendly staff and a sink as you walk in to wash your reusable cups to gain double points (green beans).
Nice friendly staff, quick service, good coffee and it was pretty quiet when I was here
