The Costa Coffee cafe in the departure hall of Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 offers you a pleasant view of the airport, where you can see the planes take off while enjoying a drink, sandwich or dessert. The range of food and drinks was huge.
You have to order at the counter, even though there were a lot of people, orders were still taken quickly and the order was served quickly.
My family and I sat at a table near the window where the view was amazing.
Large seating area and most tables have charging ports.
The room was quite clean.
The service was excellent, both behind the counter and in the hall where they walked and cleaned.
Costa Coffee in Heathrow Terminal 4 departure hall offers a pleasant view of the airport while enjoying your coffee and sandwich. Ordering at the counter was quick, and the coffee was served promptly. The only drawback was that the electric wall socket at my seat wasn't functional. Fortunately, I had my battery power bank to charge my phone.
I had just landed from a 6 am flight on Wednesday and stopped for a quick beverage before I continued my journey home.
There were 4 servers that day I believe, but I was served on the left side where there were 2 servers.
Forgive me I do not remember their names. The only thing I remember was that he was Asian, wears glasses and was attending to the left. This man in particular was completely rude and lacked customer service skills. He was given the customer before me a lot of unnecessary attitude because I believe he did not wait in the right line from what I can understand. The other server took over from him because he walked away in a strip.
He then carried this same attitude to me UNPROVOKED. I just wanted to confirm that he had listened to my request to use oat milk instead of cows milk in my Chocolate Brownie Frostino. Which is something I do because a lot of people tend to get my coffee order wrong and I can’t drink cows milk. He then replied rudely when I confirmed with something on the lines of…, “that’s what you asked for no? Is this not oat milk”. I was completely drained from my 13 hour journey and chose not to respond. He now handed my drink over, I could see he had calmed down a bit which was good. But after leaving i noticed he had given me a plain frostino. No chocolate sauce or flavouring at all. Please refer to the picture… It looked exactly like that. I was deeply disappointed…
He also messed up my other order also, where I requested a medium hot chocolate but was given a small. This is what I get for confirming my order ????????
The service in Terminal 4 today was amazing. Malaika and Muhammed were full of smiles and very kind. I have to say this was the best service I have recieved in any retail/food establishment. They are an absolute asset to the company. Thank you very much for providing a very nice coffee and making my day go by just a little better with you smiles and banter.

That portafilter is water leaking when making coffee, but barista still serves the 'water flat white' to me. I am coffee lover, I feel so embarrassed about the quality of the barista.
