Love the new layout, and the service from Kerrie (and co.) was fab! She was incredibly lovely and bubbly, and my drink order had been put through incorrectly but it was immediately fixed by the guys without me needing to say a thing and despite how busy the shop is. Very chuffed!
It's a representative outlet for this franchise. Drinks are consistent, and reasonably priced for what you get. Food is somewhat overpriced and underfilled. The seating and tables are nice and not cluttered by previous diners' remnants.
If there was competition nearby, I'd incline to try that.
If there was an option for a black star I would have given it. Whilst the revamp is aesthetically pleasing it would be quicker to jump in your car and drive to Pakefied to get served. Honestly the ditsy girl that served me stood for ages staring at the barista making drinks for the previous customer which meant I had to wait longer for my toastie to be cooked. I even had to ask for serviettes, you wouldn't believe the look I got. Customers behind me were also grumbling and it wasn't even the lunchtime rush. Roll on when these bored, unenthusiastic actually get personalities and learn to smile.
Katie, the barista, consistently delivers exceptional service every time I visit. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail make each visit enjoyable. Thank you, Katie, for making my experiences delightful!
Before the intro of the drive through this used to be a nice break from stomping around shops now however (this is something I have noticed elsewhere too) the staff concentrate too much on the drive through and not enough time on the que in the shop, there were 4 people in front of me and it took 20 mins to get served and noted that cars were whizzing through the drive through. There was very little selection of food, so decided to take my food order to Gregg's next door where I got what I wanted.
In my opinion Costa coffee has changed for the worse since being sold to Coca Cola.
Met up with a couple of our friends. Lovely place to chat and relax with a nice toasted sandwich and coffee. Highly recommended.
I really like the new layout. Busier than before the addition of the drive-through but to be expected meaning a bit of a wait for counter service but does not detract from the friendly service, good coffee and selection of food.
Got my vote as a good place to go.
