It was quite busy, friendly staff and looks good inside...
Visually attractive branch of Costa Coffee, comparatively recently opened.
Nice seating outside with only a limited 2 parasols for a hot sunny day.
Busy when we were there. Service was slow as they appeared to give priority to drive through customers.
Clean and spacious seating inside and clean. Easy to park outside and well worth a visit if in the area.
Been in here twice now, both times my partner and I were served by the same person. Both times he was rude and just seemed like he didn't want to be there. I understand it's a stressful job and he probably doesn't want to be there, but it made my partner and I feel like we weren't welcome at all. It felt like we were getting in his way just by asking for 2 drinks. He got our order for the first drink, put it through the till, then as my partner started asking for his drink, the staff member turned away and talked to someone else.
When we asked where to scan my Costa card, he said nothing, just looked grumpy and tapped the scanner. When we went to pay, he didn't even tell us our total, and just tapped the card machine. He didn't smile once. Every other member of staff there seemed relatively smiley and friendly but he was just plain rude. Disappointing that both times I've been there, I've been served by him.
It's a pretty standard Costa in terms of food; quite pricey but the drinks were nice enough. Very loud though; not even any music playing and yet my partner and I had to shout at each other just to hear each other.
Good sized Costa, complete with indoor and outdoor seating as well as a drive-thru. Lots of parking directly outside (limited to 3 hours).
Staff were friendly and the choice of food/drink is the usual. Just wish they'd hire more staff or adopt a better way of ordering and waiting for your drinks/food.
Popped in for lunch today with family, kids love using their Costa reusable cups. Hot drinks for me tho. Great service as always we go in credit to staff
Brought hot chocolates and wasn’t offered cream or marshmallows.. when the drinks arrived I asked for cream and marshmallows for my daughter’s and was told it costs extra and they had no marshmallows! £17 well spent ????
Nice space and easy access with close parking.
However seemed to be served by most incompetent staff member ever. Of the 4 very standard things we ordered she couldn't find a single one on the till system.
I use the Hampden Park Costa drive -thru’ regularly and the usual guy serving is lovely, helpful and leaves me with a smile but todays chap serving on the intercom & at the serving hatch (approx 2.49pm) messed up all our orders, didn’t write on the lids what they were until we asked and another assistant had to tell him what they were & didn’t use the drop-down serving tray to give us our food & drinks so my partner had to struggle to lean out the car to get them. We had to ask for a cup holder. He gave me cream and not my partner which was the wrong way around and a plain hot chocolate rather than a Terrys Chocolate hot chocolate for my partners son, which we’d pay for! We’d driven down the bypass before we realised and on the way to our afternoon out. Very disappointing. He wasn’t engaged at all. Usual guy is one of the reasons I go there (higher pitched voice guy) Not a good experience today Costa. Sort it out :(
