Got a large Cornish pasty and 2 sausage rolls. The service was good and the food was hot. The pasty was really good, it was full of meat, the veg was nice and just the right amount of pepper. The sausage rolls were hot, pastry was soft and flakey and meat was lovely. Overall a nice pasty and at a reasonable price.
A great pastry shop with good quality food and service, the staff are all friendly and polite.
The food here ranges from great to adequate, my most recent pizza wasn't the best I have had from here but was still enjoyable. The selection of products ensures everyone is happy, from pizzas, Panini's, to pasties.
The pricing here is also good, 12" pizzas are usually around £6.
First Cornish pasty in St Ives and once again, pure disappointment. My bones were filled with excitement as I spotted there was a giant sized bad boy after the large. And still kept below the £5 mark, get in! As I watched in awe, wondering which giant pasty I'd get, the cashier reached from behind the counter and passed me my pasty from the mysterious location that wasn't from the POS. Feeling cheated, we were then shouted at by one of the employees to clear the shop if we were waiting to pick up. Seems like this kitchen got a bit too hot for someone ????
Willing to put the salty water under the bridge, I headed out into the sunshine gleeful with my soon to be taste bud extravaganza. And with the first bite, the regret sank in. The pastry tasted like it belonged to the wrong baked good. Tasted more like apple crust that had been dipped in salt. Looking forward to eating my way to the filling, which took a few bites, I was then hit with my next wave of horror as the insides were just a bland, flavourless, overly salty and somewhat burnt mess. Worst Cornish pasty I've had in my life. And for that reason alone, I have to give this place a 2 star ????
steak pasties and meat paninis are good but slightly too expensive.
Great place to get something to eat. Large verity menus, reasonable pricing, made fresh. And above all tastes great. Would highly recommend it.
Great takeaway pasties and definitely a must try! Chicken wrap was also good.
Your standard pasty shop. They have a good selection to choose from and are fresh. We found the reception from the member of staff who served us to be cold and he had an attitude like he didn’t want to be there and we were a burden to him, think he should be in a different job. We asked for a baguette to be done without any salad due to an onion allergy and when we opened it we found they had put salad in so didn’t listen to instructions.
Be careful when leaving that you don’t open the bags as gulls are there in large numbers waiting to pounce and steal the food of unsuspecting victims.
Ordered 5 items, the team of 3 young muppets working there got 1 out of the 5 right. Looks the part from the outside & in a good location, in reality can't put a order together between 3 of them ???? fillings were meh aswell, wouldn't go back
