Step back in time, this is a pub like they used to be. No TV, no music, no food, but excellent beer served from a hatch. Bar skittles, darts and an open fire. Friendly welcome. Check opening hours, mostly limited to weekends. Great place to finish a country walk.
lovely old fashioned pub with old pub games in a beautiful location, we stumbled on while out for a motorcycle ride. take an old book to swap. have a few pints and a stroll to the rivers edge.
Very rustic and old fashion pub. Totally different from the usual standard pub. I would recommend it. Plus some old games, books and more.

A proper unspoilt traditional pub with a very warm welcome. No food, no TV, no piped music. Quoits, darts, table skittles and cards. Draught bitter and cider. Bottled beers, ciders and wines. Log burner and open fireplace too. Large sunny beer garden.
If you want to find out how public houses began.. and would like to experience the likes of which rarely exist today visit this place.
Great little quirky pub, mainly bottles with one larger tap and one Ale on tap, no bar as such, you get served from a little hatch and staff really friendly. Massive beer garden. Definitely worth a visit.
Omg.. never been to a pup that was a house... It was amazing loads of things to look at and all sort of games. I think the land lady was called Izzy!! May wrong but she was lovely anyway x
