If I read the reviews I wouldn't have gone. Chips all burnt! For £17 they gave a tiny fish and chips what a rip off. This is a kids size meal. The curry sauce and peas we're so dry and thick. Please don't wate your money just travel dwn the road Nd go to a proper chippy.
Worst fish and chips i have ever had. Said it was freshly cooked to order, the cod bites were and looked nice, teenager said it was nice as did youngest boy who also had the only nice chips but was a fresh batch. Chicken nuggets ok too. The two cods were reheated, well over cooked, dry and fish inside luke warm and small, four portions of chips were overcooked and reheated. Expensive too £54 it cost and most of it went in the bin.
Obviously can do it well but do not cook fresh to order as they said on most items. Will.not use again.
Really poor fish and chips! Chips were dry, fish was supposed to be a large cod but was the same size as a small at my local chippy in Bedford. It wasn't just me being unlucky either as our party ordered 3 large fish and mine was the biggest! The batter wasn't great either and did I mention it was £12.95! Absolute rip off even if it was good quality. Unfortunately they were closing soon after we ordered so by the time we got back and opened them up they were shut otherwise I would have returned and asked for my money back.
Ordered a large chips for delivery. Portion size was tiny, equivalent to a cone of chips at home, and the chips were nothing like chippy chips, more like a dodgy cafe chip - stale, flavourless, and a complete waste of money! No wonder they’ve got such poor reviews having now looked through…
Absolutely disgusting, son refused to eat chicken nuggets which was a first, chips were revolting and covered in black bits. Fish was tiny and swimming in grease. We threw everything out and went to Mash Barrel.
Absolutely disgusting battered sausage over cooked greasy and horrible chicken & mushroom pie rock hard on top soft around the sides fish greasy and disgusting chicken burger was more like a chicken strip in an oversized bun and for a regular chips I’ve honestly seen more chips in a cone of chips. Kids refused to eat it as they said it was horrible ridiculously over priced. A shame you have to give them 1 star as they don’t deserve any!! Do yourself a favour and go off camp for your fish and chips that way you won’t be disappointed!!!
Absolutely rediculous for large cod and chips £17
Very disappointed by the food served here. Burnt pies cold mushy peas and hair in the chips. Ruined the last day of our holiday, will not use again. £24 not well spent.
