- couldn't agree more, this idiotic place is trying to charge me a £100 fine because the signs weren't clear until exit (which we then paid) but as it "wasn't in time" now a £100 fine.

Lovely walk with the dog, nice place to take the kids and tire them out, sensable footwear will be needed as it's a bit boggie, theirs toilets 50p charge, I'm sure they close at 4pm also you have to pay for parking this has all recently been put in last year as they used to be free
Arrived at Balmaha visitors centre and staff ever so helpful. Walk recommend going reverse route behind Conic Hill . Nice climb. When trying to reach the summit, it is a busy and narrow path. Quite rocky path at Summit extra care if wet.

Large Car park that accommodates plenty of space for cars, Vans and EV’s charging stations are also available here. It use to be free but now you will need to pay if you will be staying for more than an hour, however 2.60£ for 4 hrs for 3.60£ for the day is not expensive at all.
Also you don’t need to worry about having to carry exact changes as you can pay using the RingGo app however contactless or card payments are not available.
At summer time, bank holidays or weekends when the weather is nice and Sunny ☀️ it can get really busy as The village is a popular tourist destination for picnickers and day trippers from Glasgow as well as walkers on the West Highland Way.
Toilet Facilities is available right at the visitors center.
A lucky sunset and a brilliant view looking up Loch Lomond. Starting at the end of the car park, it's a woodland walk and lots of stairs then a climb up the hill - surprised it was as quiet as it was when I was there..
Disgusting trying to charge a £100 fine for a carpark because we paid the fee for hours spent when we got back to the car. You're not getting any more money, you should be ashamed making this beautiful country look back.
This is a cracking spot when visiting Balmaha - epic Stand Up Paddle board session daisy chaining the islands and awesome ride up the west Highland way. Most of thd path is good walking. "Man made" steps might be a bit taxing on some people. All well on a dry spell day. Views awesome bug it was a hoolue wind the night. Don't forget ur camera. Toilets open
