Very easy to book in and the lady on the reception gave constant updates. Ed was extremely honest and the car drives like a dream. Already told him I'll be back for any service and bits and bobs. Tempted not to leave such a good review so that I can keep them a secret all for myself ????.

Took my car for air conditioning regassing costing £49. They said it would take an hour, which it did. If anything, the air conditioning was worse. I decided to take it to Halfords for a free test. There were no leaks but the system was empty. Halfords offered to refill it for £50 which I accepted. It now works perfectly and it only took half an hour. Terrible service from Compass. Will never use them again.
Best garage in St Ives, Cambridgeshire! Been a customer for the last 9 years or so.

Update September 2022. Compass Car Repairs have assisted both myself and relatives with urgent repairs and servicing to a high standard. Our old family garage ceased trading and it's great to have found a solid replacement.
Richard and Ed are both very knowledgeable and experienced, diagnosing and fixing even stubborn faults efficiently. We have two thirteen year old Toyotas both with around 130k on the clock and showing their age. Compass have been very pragmatic and realistic with their approach, repairing rather than replacing where possible (two exhausts repaired when any other garage would have fitted new ones) minimising the cost to the customer.
They never recommend unnecessary work and offer excellent advice. Very competitive prices on both parts and labour in general and always do their best to fit urgent work in at short notice. Completely trustworthy, always busy through word of mouth rather than advertising and some much nicer cars than my old Aygo on the ramps!
It's a gem and deserving of anyone's custom.
