Love wandering around with the dogs the hedge rows are stunning in blossom love it!
As a football father the car park was okay but others found it full upon arrival and had to go back to the car park to let others out, in terms of football the grass on the pitch my son played on was over grown it needed a cut before the game, I could see a park in the distance, tidy place though.
I went to see my grandson play football here, it was extremely cold but I enjoyed every minute. Meeting up with family I'd not seen for a while was lovely. My younger grandson enjoyed playing on the slide and other apparatus pre match so there was something for both age groups. Thank you.
Came to watch a football match. Nice pitch. Could do with a few more parking spaces.

Amazing place for dog walks, day with children, sports, football ect
Nice big recreation ground. Sports pitches and play equipment too. Lots of rabbits in the summer evenings to keep your dog interested as well. Small, young wood is getting better every year.
Good place to walk dogs but owners don't always clear up after their pets. This field is used by football clubs so it's not nice for the players fall in excrement. Please dog walkers clear up after your dog else we may loose this facility.
