The Colliery Pharmacy goes above and beyond. The caring staff make you feel like a priority, answering questions and offering services like delivery for £2 per order or £45 paid yearly - a deal! Whether filling my prescriptions, their excellent customer service is second-to-none. I wholeheartedly recommend The Colliery Pharmacy for attentive care and a friendly neighborhood pharmacy feel. This shop truly excels. Ignore any negative reviews - some people don't recognize good service when it's right in front of them. Maybe they had to wait more than 2 minutes since The Colliery is a very busy pharmacy. But the staff always do their best. It's a pharmacy after all, not a fast food restaurant.

I find it regrettable to have to share a negative review, but after numerous disappointing experiences at the Colliery Pharmacy, I feel compelled to express my concerns in the hope that those in charge will take corrective action to benefit their customers.
Time and time again, both my wife and I have visited this pharmacy to collect prescriptions only to find that they have not been processed correctly or are missing one or more essential items. We've even taken the precaution of dropping off our prescriptions a week in advance, hoping for an error-free experience, but to no avail.
The level of ineptitude we've encountered is truly astonishing. If I were to run my own business with the same degree of inefficiency, I doubt it would survive for long. When you find yourself making a second or third trip just to complete a single prescription, it goes beyond mere annoyance.
In our busy lives, wasting time and fuel due to such incompetence is simply unacceptable. It's akin to observing a group of chimpanzees attempting to organize a tea party, while the staff at the pharmacy seem to shrug their shoulders, displaying a lack of concern for the significant inconvenience they cause to the customers who ultimately support their livelihoods.
It's been a mixed bag with the Huntington branch of the pharmacy. My most recent experience is why I'm writing this review. I ran out of one of my daily medications due to my online prescription taking longer than usual to arrive. I was refused an emergency prescription on the grounds that I already had a prescription active, despite a different pharmacy having previously been happy to help me in the same situation . I was not asked why I needed the medication, the person I spoke to made assumptions based on my age, looks? I'm unsure, but I am very upset with this level of help. I wouldn't have asked for it if I didn't need it after all.
I'm now left for an unknown number of days without a medication I need to function on a day to day basis, and I'm very concerned I was fobbed off with a lie instead of given help I politely requested.
Brilliant service Marie the Pharmacist is excellent at her job she knows more than my GP, this lady very helpful and puts your mind at rest.
The other staff are very nice and pleasant.

I have used several pharmacy's in my area and finally found one that just gets it right every time and on time. I can't fault them. The staff are always on hand to answer any queries and the pharmacist's are always available if you need to ask a question. I would definitly recommend this pharmacy.

All slow and never answer the phone yet its always engaged tried multiple times also put in a prescription on the 19th Dec and it weren't even sent to the doctor for approval So I had to ring the doctors and sort it absolutely useless
