Lovely food, nice and spicy satay! Much quicker to order ahead, friendly staff! No cards accepted so take cash. Manual door entry, assistance for disabled required. Highly recommended! Closed Tuesday
Quite a disappointing meal. The food was very pricey, in fact it is about a £1 dearer per dish than most better Chinese takeaways in Middlesbrough. Very unfriendly reception by the staff.
I ordered sweetcorn and Chicken soup for starter which was very watery and had little taste. My main of special curry lacked any substantial taste. The spare ribs were OK, although had little meat on them.
I would have expected more from a reputable takeaway such as this. My total bill including 2 bags of mediocre chips was £22.00 and no free prawn crackers (quite a normal freebie in any other store). Quite expensive in my opinion, considering the food in the all you can eat Chinese restaurants is better and would have cost around £21.00.
Sorry but wont be going back.
Great Chinese menu and they serve you very quick with the food that you order. Very tasty sauces and crispy vegetables, but I sometimes have trouble in deciding if the chicken that is battered that I am tasting in my Szechuan chicken choice, or Cantonese sweet & sour is actually chicken in the batter??
Mixed meat curry was plentiful , chicken salt and pepper lush. We will return .. great price also.
Tried for the first time today got a choq mien was horrible chicken was like jelly loads of watery mushrooms even tho i said i diddnt want any and all round of putting havent tried anything else from here so cant comment
Crispy Beef is absolutely awesome :-) but the chicken in blackbean sauce was watery and tasteless.
Had the 1/4 duck which was great and thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt on the blackbean sauce and have it with shredded beef. Again it was watery and tasteless, very disappointing.
Timmy's in Nunthorpe is much better food and cheaper
