Unbelievable, had booked in as a new patient with my wife, due to have my first appointment, yet received a call this morning to say that my 87 year old mother who is in hospital was dying.
So instead of allowing us to rebook, we get struck off.
If this the level of compassion they show, I am actually glad they did, unfortunately you can’t give a zero rating.
Rang for an appointment just before bank holiday weekend and initially got me one for first day back, which I was happy with. However, a few minutes later, I was called back (by Holly I think) as there had been a cancellation for later the same day as my call - which I most gratefully accepted and appreciated. Well done team !
Just like to say a big Thank you to Holly on receiption who organized an urgent repair for me. Very kind considerate and professional. I was very anxious but she reassured me and kept me updated. All went well thanks to Holly. Thanks again.
Went for a check up, the place has let’s just say gone downhill, ripped chairs dirty walls but the main reason for this one star review is the fact that i had to pay for my check up & sign my life away before i even saw the dentist! I said i want to pay after as i have done for years, apparently it’s a new policy, would you pay for your dinner before you’ve had it? To ask someone to pay before they have nhs treatment is unheard of, i double checked i was still nhs and they said yes, i rang other local dentists afterwards and they do NOT charge nhs patients before they’ve had their appointment, seems very dodgy!! the dentist knew nothing about paying before either!

Robin Richardson is always professional and helpful. Thoroughly recommend him. The reception team are great, especially Ruth who is wonderful with children.
Went for my checkup, needed a filling, receptionist gave me a date, I asked to be contacted if earlier cancellation. Ruth phoned me and gave me an earlier appointment date. Excellent. Rob, my dentist knows I’m not a brave patient. He talked me through everything he was doing, very reassuring. Filling in back tooth, sorted. Thank you to the whole team.
Repairs going on to the lovely old quirky building. Good to see.
I phoned yesterday to register with the practice, Holly was most prompt in replying took my details and I had an appointment the following day véry impressed.
Had cause to see the hygienist today & what can I say, both Anju & Aimee put me at ease from the moment I sat in the chair. Very professional and attentive, checking throughout the procedure that I was okay ????
Happy to discuss preventative methods, explained thoroughly each & every time. At no time was i concerned and as to my treatment, it was first rate throughout the consultation. Very happy with the end result, no issues at all, thank you both, a credit to the dental practice ????
