We went on a Sunday lunch time. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, great atmosphere too but food was a little disappointing. Poached eggs were over done, many items of the menu were not available and worst of all, it took very long for the food to arrive. Even a coffee would take a good 10 minutes before appearing. Maybe it was a challenging day for the staff. But we really liked the drink selections
A great experience overall. My favourite pet-friendly place for coffee, breakfast and lunch in the area. You will love the food, and the amazing deserts with the cannoli being the star of the show. However what makes this place so special are the amazing people who work here. Highly recommended.
An amazing atmosphere to work and do research. The place is cool, in way calming to work in (yes, I will praise your interior design). Besides this the food and drinks are very nice, I like that they don't work with too big of a menu, but in the same time there is something for everyone. The stuff is friendly, helpful and accomodating. Will keep coming back for sure.
The most wonderful humans! So kind and they go out of their way to help. I love coming here. The staff remember you and make you feel so welcome.
The food is great, the portions are fantastic.

Me and partner go here with our frenchies frequently.. We drive from North London which is quite far but we travel here just for the amazing and lovely customer service.. it's a hidden gem in the area. I recommened them to everyone for a nice coffee and lunch. The menu accommodates all..
I came in just before closing, great atmosphere, genuinely kind service and amazing coffee! Definitely going back for food. My frenchies loved the place too
Popped in on route the Capital Ring walk.
Mozzarella Panini was served luke warm and coffees were of low quality.
Service was patronising and unfriendly.
Recommend the walk, not the cafe!
I am unable to add a reply, so adding an edit to my original review with more details.
We explained to CT team that our father was diabetic and had to eat special food which we bought with us (especially on a long hike), which was acknowledged with no sympathy and instead we were told they had diabetes too. The team then continued to chat in another language staring at us and making us feel very unwelcome.
This is not a spite review but an honest one based on our experience with the food and service.
Lovely customer service. Felt very welcomed, the woman serving us was smiley and super friendly. Didn’t get to explore other food options as was in a rush but would definitely come back.
