The food is absolutely incredible. The avocado with sourdough with added halloumi and eggs, just perfection. You get high quality cutlery to eat them with too which adds to the experience significantly.
My litmus test on the standards on brunch establishments are, eggs, orange juice and coffee. You'll be pleased to hear absolutely 10/10 on all of these categories.
I don't say this lightly but you must try this place.
Prices are central Londoneque, but logical based on the location.
Visit here quite regularly despite not living in stortford . Nice varied menu and food always looks and tastes good. All staff are lovely and go out of their way to make you feel welcome ,everywhere always appears
Clean too . Children babies and dogs all welcome , my only gripe today was , a lady had two dogs laying all over a sofa in there , to be fair she had them on a coat but not sure I'm happy for dogs to be allowed on the furniture and taking up extra space where other customers could have sat ???? I think that's taking advantage of the cafes good nature and allowing you to bring dogs in , but that's just my personal opinion ????
Food was quite delicious, a typical cafe serving all day breakfast, sandwiches/wraps, jacket potatoes and salad etc, we went in after 1pm for lunch and it was quite busy and we had to wait for a table, dogs are welcomed to dine in, overall not too bad.
Cosy, well run coffee place.
My lunch was lovely, the omelet was perfectly light and the salad was delicious. We also had a breakfast wrap that was piping hot and filling.
The coffee was well made with high quality beans.
Popped in for coffee to see the new refurb.
It's now very open and light with lots of room for people and pushchairs.
Plus extra stalls (with plugs) for the 1 person who wants to sit on their laptop for hours on end...
Very friendly staff and a decent cup of coffee.
Will return again next week for food as the specials board food looks fresh and different.

Highly recommend if looking for casual drink or even cheeky cakes offering vegan & dairy free options for your sweet tooth.
Was looking for somewhere for a lightish lunch -staff were friendly and service and food was very good ,will certainly be back .
