Stopped here for lunch whilst on shift. Greeted by lovely lady. She sells sweet and savoury options. Everything is apparently home made. I went feeling hungry so got a few things. I decided go for the Brie, bacon and cranberry bagel which was pretty good. I would’ve liked more cranberry though. I also got a Cajun chicken quesadilla. This was ok but very watery. For sweet I got a white chocolate millionaire shortbread which was my favourite. Very tasty and not too sweet. Finally I got a white chocolate scone with jam and cream. Thankfully I had the cream and jam because I thought the scone was quite dry and didn’t get much white chocolate flavour. I thought it was reasonable value for everything.

Breakfast (which I think you can get all day and have) - very well cooked and tasty, good ingredients.
Tea & Scones - (home made scones at that) eaten in and taken away. Not dry but moist, go early to get them when they have been freshly made in the morning.
Lunch/early Dinner (apr 2024) - I had the beef casserole, wasn't sure what to expect, dry/tough it was Not - the beef was very moist and broke up into tasty pieces.

Couldn't smell the food getting cooked. Maybe air fried or microwaved. Wasn't bad but not great either. Staff lovely and a nice atmosphere in the place
A great place for a break while walking along the John Muir Way. Great variety of food and drinks on offer. Friendly and efficient service. Very clean and tastefully decorated cafe.
Big range of scones and cakes. Nice lunches as well. Dog friendly.
First time trying this restaurant and I would highly recommend it. Service was lovely and food is cooked fresh. I ordered the fish with homemade tartar sauce and the batter was lovely and crispy, and the fish was cooked perfectly. 10-10. Will definitely be going back.
