Re-opened for October 2020 under new management. I had learnt it was a bike friendly venue from friends, so popped over with the better half on a Sunday afternoon for some grub. Was not disappointed. Food was top notch! (I had the roast beef, my partner the partridge) Pierre & Raline, the new landlord and landlady were friendly and most welcoming. Some fine ales on sale and quite an impressive selection of gins. The venue is still being renovated meaning it can only get better. Will come again!
Very welcoming and hospitable staff, lovely atmosphere, and above all one very good girl (a very well-behaved pub dog). ????
We popped in for a drink with our dogs, we enjoyed a pleasant pint with the landlord and lady, the dogs were welcome.
We returned later for a pleasant dinner it was plentiful and well cooked, we will return if in the area for a repeat meal.
Love this charming little village pub the staff and locals are so friendly. Perfect way to wind down after a hard day's fishing. Thanks ????

The Coach and Horses Harvington, is a family run traditional country pub featuring a cosy lounge area with log burner, separate dining area and a traditional bar with open fire. For those warmer days, there is an outside enclosed courtyard area with seating to enjoy a few drinks. We show regular live TV sport and there is a dartboard and jukebox for your entertainment. Dogs and muddy boots are very welcome in our bar area. We have a newly refurbished function room/skittle alley and run three skittles teams from the venue, in season.
Hubby and I had Sunday lunch here with my sister-in-law and her partner. The food was perfect. Between the four of us we had all three meats that were on offer, belly pork and crackling, lamb chops and beef. There were more than enough vegetables for us and a great selection too. We ate outside and the service was speedy, friendly and efficient. There are several outdoor areas, with plenty of seating. There is an area for children to play but we didn't use this but I believe there are playhouses for little ones to use. We had a lovely conversation with the landlord, he was friendly and approachable. One of the best features of the pub is the wonderful Luna, the landlords dog. She was keen to welcome everyone without being jumpy, pushy or a nuisance. She was very gentle with other dogs and great with the few children that we saw. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed long enough to have dessert...we were too stuffed for dessert straight after eating. Hubby and I shared the ice cream and it was some of the best I've tried. We highly recommend this venue, great setting, wonderful food, plenty of parking and pretty Luna. A real gem.
Friendly, unspoilt, unpretentious village local with a real fire and a great atmosphere. Only slight negative is the limited number of cask beers. However, the 2 that they did have on offer were well kept.
