I'm disappointed in this new building. I felt the old shop had a reasonably good selection of products and thought that a bigger store would provide an even better shopping stock. However, they have just increased the booze 10 fold and not the food stock. I only go here for a few things as it's not worth it for a bigger shop. There, raspberry croissants are to die for ❤️ The parking is great but pulling back out onto the main road can be difficult.
I've posted before that this is an excellent local supermarket, a smaller one rather than a superstore. It's bright, well laid out with a full range of food stuffs including fresh items, bakery products, alcohol, cooking/baking ingredients and newspapers.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
As well as attended checkouts, there are self-service checkouts and a bank cash machine.
Outside, there is a spacious car park, with spaces for disabled parking and electric vehicle charging.
Items out of stock on the 5 items for £6 deal, two weeks running - it's a good deal but only if you can get it!
A bit pricey in places and costs maybe being passed on due to amount of shoplifters using an Easy target.
Car park, cash machine, EV points and mobility spaces. Near the bus stop too. Several self service checkouts. Great choice. Staff always appear busy. Some items don't have shelf tickets therefore you don't know the price. Always worth looking for offers on the app before you start shopping.
This has more footage than Eldon Street and potentially better choice but based on service and atmosphere I'd pick Eldon street every time.
It has a great range of products you would have no problem finding anything you need, I particularly like their range of fruit and vegetables and if you're looking for a nice bottle of wine there are plenty to choose from, I would recommend it to anyone who lives in Gourock.
Short visit to purchase ferry tickets. Quick service.
