Used to come here as a teenager and it certainly wasn’t as popular as nowadays. Still a lovely little gem and perfect for dog lovers/parents as you can allow your furry friends off lead. Shame the car park over priced and the cafe has monopoly on toilets and refreshments. Beautiful day out
Great little place with plenty of parking, friendly service and a great variety of food. The food is a step above what you'd expected for a regular café, so recommended.
Opening hours are mostly 9am to 4pm, unless the weather is rubbish in which case they might not open. Sometimes they do an evening meal also.
If you're driving here, parking is £1.50 per hour or £5 all day if you're staying at the beach.

Unbelievable how one can be treated at this cafe.
Cafe not serving food but you have to pay to park there.
Their favourite expression when asked for a refund on the £10 parking charge as we made a decision within 5 minutes not to stay.

Great coffee, breakfast and cream buns. Perfect for a walk along the coast and really friendly staff too. How's this for a great bacon and egg sandwich ????
No sooner had I arrived and myself and my group were faced by a vile woman demanding an extortionate amount for parking. I regret not just getting back in my car and parking up the road. I'm happy to pay a reasonable price but not the amount that was demanded.
The cafe didn't have anything we wanted and is in a state of poor repair. I wouldn't trust anything prepared there anyway.
In summary: Park down the way and not in their car park and avoid the cafe at all costs.
Workers don't speak language
If u come here u don't need to pay for parking its for free they just say u have to but its a scam
Dogs allowed here so that means dog owners will leave dog poo lying around on the beach when your trying to get into the water. Its impossible to walk to the water without stepping in dog poo and dogs barking constantly . Toilets aren't clean and they have padlocked disabled toilets
