No compassion, rushed appointment barely even looked at the issue was in the room all of 2 minutes. Barely any explanation on what they are doing regarding my referral, Have also reported this to the NHS as the service was just terrible. Would give less than 1 star if I could.
I would honestly rate less if I could - had an emergency appointment via the 111 which usually cost about £25.80, keep in mind I have used this service often (as it's impossible to get signed up to a dentist) for tooth extractions, root canals and fillings in the past which has only ever cost me £25.80.
Edit: Turns out the other dentists only ever charged me band A so still odd they charge band B prices I suppose I'm wrong to judge on what is actually stated online.
For whatever reason this lovely chap decided that price tag would be set to £70.70 and when I quizzed this fact due to the implication I've never had to pay that high before on a NHS 111 emergency appointment - I was basically told to leave.
Edit: where as I now some what understand the price, this is the band B price for a new filling. For a temporary filling (which is all I required realistically as I have another appointment in 2 weeks) it would have been the band A price of £25.80 so with that, this dentist was still trying to get an extra £65ish
This is totally disgusting that they're trying to charge almost £65 above what the NHS 111 site states for a temporary filling. Fair to say I will never use this service again.
1 star! Ya lucky I can't give -5! This dentist is a butcher!! Avoid at all costs, u be better off extracting ya own teeth filling ya own holes in ya teeth and still ne in less pain! This dentist has no care only thinks about money and how much he can make! I swear do not use this dentist ever!!!
I had an appointment with the dentist for a abcess on the gum and I was prescribed 100mg amoxicillin 3 times a day for 5 days. The infection didn't go away so I had to book an appointment with another dentist. I've been in pain for the past 3 weeks but today I was prescribed 500mg amoxicillin. Clifton Gardens prescribed the dosage required for a child younger than 6 months old yet I'm a 47 year old man. Hopefully today's 100 mile trip was worth it so the pain will stop. I've also been referred to a dental hospital to have my wisdom teeth extracted. Something Clifton Gardens didn't even look at. I won't recommend anyone with dental problems to go there as a child could've done a better diagnosis
Couldn’t recommend this place enough now.
The receptionist is so kind and super helpful.
I was allocated same day appointment as I’m suffering with my wisdom tooth at the moment. I was reassured by the Dentist and was booked in for an extraction for the following week!
I'm contacting the NHS tomorrow. I've been working and paying NI for the past 26 years. You've caused me great pain for 2 weeks when your duty is to help. You should be discontinued now. Your patients don't matter.
Only had a filling but the appointment was quick, painless, well communicated, and the staff were very friendly :)
As promised I have changed my review. After my previous appointments wasn't brilliant and was neglectful. I have been to see the new dentist who has done the fillings and was very good with my anxieties. The hygienist is very good too. The reception staff are good . Only giving a 4 star due to previous problems but they have been rectified and I am able to drink, eat, open my mouth in cold conditions without any pain.
