Best KPortal Reviews

It's one of those cafe/restaurant places you love to eat and drink at, outside seating has beautiful views out to sea, with Felixstowe seafront gardens just a few places away, inside the restaurant area there's more tables, to choose if the weather is a little off on your visit. The staff are charming and welcoming, service is excellent. Menu is quite a lot to choose from, and always well cooked/presented, breakfast here is about the best available in Felixstowe, the fish also Hugh quality. If coming via the gardens be mindful there's steps, although there's an easier way in via the road, it's on a slope but nothing too major to cope with. I shall be visiting here for a longtime into the future. I hope you visit and enjoy as much as I do.
Our favourite place on the Beautiful Suffolk coast.Fabulous freshly cooked food, great staff and a fabulous view over lovely gardens with the sea just behind as we sit on the terrace. All round magical cafe, always makes our day and sets us up for a long bracing walk!!
It's always very welcoming after a walk on the beach.
Lovely teas and coffees to enjoy with the delicious cakes on display.
If something more substantial is required the lunch menu offers some great choices, the fish and chips are particularly tasty as are the breakfasts.
There's an impressive selection of art for sale on the walls and well behaved dogs are always welcome.
After a couple of day's visit to the area, I won't pretend to know many cafés to compare it to. However, after eating here, I doubt I ever will, as I see no reason to go elsewhere.
A 'clean' full english, or Mountain Top as they call it. Nice scenery, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly, accommodating ladies serving.
The only negative is that they don't do black pudding, but that's not enough to mark them down an entire star, as everything else was perfect. 4.75/5
Lovely cafe on the Hillside with great views of the gardens and seaside. Good food and service.
Excellent service as BOTH breakfasts had changes ie additional mushrooms and a swop x2 sausages for x1 bacon with scrambled egg not fried, plus glass of tap water. Thank you.
Coffee and walnut cake to die! Great views, superb hospitality...been going here, when on holiday, for the past 10 year!
Delicious toastie and fish and chips. Wonderful staff - polite, friendly and helpful! Cakes were lovely too.
