Thanks to all the fantastic team at Clear Ridge. Woody our very much loved Tabby cat has survived major surgery last weekend, thanks to Robert the vet, and all the teams care and attention. Woody felt very much like a VIP! So glad to get him back home!
This review is for visits to this vets some years ago and I never thought to write a review but better (very) late than never!
I took my dog in who turned out to have a broken leg. But at that time I didn't have a job and could not afford the expensive treatment, (I did not have pet insurance but have since learnt my lesson!). Anyway I told Pontefract this and said given my circumstances I said (very reluctantly that I think it best for him to be put to sleep as it was all I could afford. To cut a long story short, basically, Pontefract said no and went ahead with treatment anyway and I was handed a massive bill at the end of it.
I was left with no choice but to sell precious, sentimental jewellery to help pay the bill and there was zero sympathy from a heartless and stone faced Pontefract either.
A truly horrific experience that caused me major stress from worry from which I ended up on anti-anxiety medication I kid you not!
An awful man who only cares about the money and I seriously suggest you go elsewhere!
Rob and his staff are absolutely amazing.Back in September our Exotic Shorthair Cat had serious eye problem and a big bust abscess on her left cheek. She spent 5 days in the hospital and reciewed excellent care and is still being seen. We can't recommend Rob and his team enough. We are very grateful. Thankyou
A lovely vets! They're very welcoming and understanding and brilliant with my two cats Dorothy and Florence, they've also helped out with short notice appointments on more than one occasion so I highly recommend them.
Gave 4 days notice for dogs tablets still not ready to collect when I rang 4 days later they got them ready and even after a phone call to let them know I was there to collect left in the car park for 45 minutes until a further call only to be told the person i spike to hadn't passed on the message and went for his lunch. This is not the first time I have had this experience very unprofessional and couldn't organise a pi** upin a brewery. Please avoid if you have a new pet.
Just called to check if my golden retriever needed an emergency vet visit, spoke to Will who was very helpful and consulted with a vet to advise me. Very impressed with the professionalism and kindness shown - and I’m just visiting the area, not even one of their customers. 5 stars!
I've been to loads of vets in the past, having moved several times, but this is without a doubt my favourite. Rob is just so caring and compassionate to the animals. He's absolutely wonderful with my cats and is just a genuinely lovely guy. The rest of the staff are lovely too! Everyone at this vets really cares about the wellbeing of the animals, and that makes a huge difference.
