Beautiful food, lovely staff, excellent setup during covid-19. Highly recommend!
Great breakfast. Good price and very nice, will definitely be back again!
This place is a hidden gem. It's quite out of the way but there were plenty of customers, people who had arrived by car, bike and on foot. The food is the usual cafe type food but with some quirky differences, like a modern, continental take on a "Ploughman's lunch", which is highly recommended! If you can't make your mind up regarding which salad you want, you can have a salad with a bit of everything! The cakes are amazing and delicious too. Well worth a visit.
Great service and good menu. Only had coffee but everything looked very tempting and generous portions. Given how busy it was it is obviously very popular and well liked by those visiting at same time as me. Will be paying another visit sometime soon
This place never fails to give you a great meal, so warm and friendly with seating inside and out. The staff are excellent and even when they're busy you are never waiting for long. Dog friendly too! And reasonable prices for food and drink.
Very much recommend the cakes here, as clayton's corner. Ade our wedding cakes.
Can't fault this place, it's amazing.
Could be better ,after reading the reviews we thought it would be lovely to support a little village tearoom
We ordered our drinks and food and asked to sit outdoors, We are very into our coffees and noticed they had a barista so thats was a good thing for us, only to be shocked our coffees arrived out in paper cups ! Then our food came out only to be wrapped in tin foil , the cafe was really quiet so expected alot better , good service goes along way ,its a shame cause could be so much more with q few little tweaks , on a plus side the food was tasty.
This place has been recommended to us so many times. We went for breakfast. The greeting was a bit frosty, ordered 2 full English breakfasts and requested no black pudding to be sharply responded with good we haven’t got any. We was advised to sit inside due to too many wasps. The girl brought over the drinks to tip the teapot and spill tea over the table and didn’t seem bothered until I asked for a cloth. Then we watched 2 girls wandering around outside carrying 2 plates trying to off load them, they came inside and offered them to 2 other tables before coming to us. We was alarmed to find we was given paper plates when everyone had porcelain plates. The food wasn’t the best , bacon was dry and crumbled like a biscuit, beans was hard, tomatoes not fresh, came from a tin, toast tasted like it had been dipped in something really not the best food or service, think we will be sticking to our usual place!
Popped in for a cuppa and scone and jam. The scones are fabulous. Light and buttery. Although the cafe is not much to look at from the outside, that's deceptive as the food is excellent and well worth stopping for.
