The staff were lovely and very friendly but the food let the cafe down. Ordered sausages on a roll and it was so tough that I left half of it. I feel these are made earlier and kept warm as they certainly were not freshly cooked.
Had chocolate fudge cake with ice cream and a deluxe strawberry milkshake. ????
Probably the best chocolate cake I've ever had, it was truly exceptional. As if if couldn't get better, they welcome dogs.

Staff helpful and the soup was excellent.
Staff slow to serve you and then look as if they are doing you a favour. Food was poor at best.
We had lunch, good choice & service, food was very good & good value. Caters for all ages & I saw the staff go out of their way to accommodate those less able on their feet!

Relatively recent venture...converted from part of adjoining pub...
Modern but homely feel...community minded....also homemade food...
The clann breakfast is mega...quite a few items on the plate...cakes are gorgeous...sort of making my way through them......
What is also really lovely is the staff take the time to chat to their customers...many of whom are on the elderly..infirm side.
Service takes a little longer but acceptable...
