I’ve used this pharmacy several times and have always had a really great experience, quick, friendly & helpful. Particularly the blonde lady, she’s always been so friendly and conversational. Always recommend using this place over others nearby.
I’ve been using this pharmacy for many years. Very professional and informative. Fiona behind the till has excellent customer service and great knowledge off the products. She is naturally friendly and always a pleasure to talk too. From one Fiona another thank you ????

When telling people that their prescription medication is not available try to be nice about it, some of these medication are very important. In my case said medication was not available more than once before making me suspect that you have no intention of obtaining them, in which case maybe inform your customer, that you shouldn't be the default pharmacy. Moreover, when said medication is not available, maybe offer them an apology and offer some assistance with finding a pharmacy that might have the medication available. Saying it is up to the customer to find a place that has is it is very unhelpful. A bit of compassion and the likes would have been nice. Nevertheless, you are no longer my default pharmacy as I have a strong suspicion that my medications are not only not available, but you have no intention of storing them..
The pharmacy is a bit pricey which is understandable based on its location, but the advice they offer there is second to none. Staff are always honest with what products work best w/o any sales pitch type of language and willing to help whatever the issue. Thank you.
Selling fakes! I bought some Bio Oil from here at £22.99 which I have used half of. I saw it on offer buying from directly frim Bio Oil recently and received it today. It is clearly very different. The fake from City Pharmacy foams when shaken, Bio Oil should not do that. The colour is also very different. Stay away from City Pharmacy, they are risking profit for your health!! I will also be sending this information to trading standards!!
Great service. As i was checking around I payed attention to the lady behind the counter. She was really helpful with everybody there. We chatted a bit about products and even got free samples. Thanks a lot love. Good staff!
This pharmacy is outstanding, a gem of friendly staff who are accommodating and discrete! They are busy as located on Borough High St directly opposite Borough Market entrance/Padella next door to Holland & Barrett and London Bridge underground Stn. This pharmacy service everybody including local businesses/staff, tourists, passing footfall/traffic/ locals and city community as so close to Guys but also central in this busy hub, you never know when you need assistance and its a clean, immaculate, cool setting; well stocked with a small team that service a busy, quite intense section of London Bridge, yet they really have a full team who are calm, efficient, well informed with a consultation room and space to discuss ailments; the pharmacists themselves are all incredible and honestly they have a team of accommodating male and female pharmacists. I say this firsthand as I have had to rely on the pharmacy over the past three years and they have been pivotal in getting me well.
They actually develop relationships with many customers and I just cannot stress how popular this pharmacy is just by location alone, but because of a kind hardworking team.
I have just seen some negative reviews which was disappointing to read as I have never had a negative experience. Tbh this review is long overdue; I have been grateful for the staff of this pharmacy and their commitment throughout pandemic and since. Their hard work has helped my family and served the area which is no small feat.
The entire team are extremely conscientious and it may be that the reviews left have simply had perhaps a one off experience which we can all have a bad day, but I urge anyone to consider City Pharmacy if requiring immediate medical or health assistance.
I can only speak of my experience and I have highly recommended this pretty much family run pharmacy and will continue to do so, it has been practising for years and it is only when your health deteriorates you may have to rely upon a pharmacy, like City Pharmacy which is never ideal but this pharmacy goes above and beyond; are reliable and I stress have been pivotal in helping my health improve back to what it was, even just being understanding when you are battling health conditions or injuries.
I may not have to use them as much as I did but I trust the pharmacy with my family’s health and can only applaud this small team. I encourage all to be patient and give them a try, trust me they are good, we need to retain small businesses like this with great staff as I for one appreciate great service but to leave with a smile is a bonus especially when poorly.
City pharmacy have a great advisory service and have additional services and stock most or will get for you swiftly, which all round make them excellent along with most basic things you need including a great perfume counter.
The NHS is reliant on pharmacies like this as it as a cohort that they help patients and so are those working locally or living in community who require or rely on any medication etc. so I wish to say thank you to you all at City Pharmacy for your diligence and your hand in helping people keep well.
It is something we do not do enough, say ‘Thank you’ as I am sure it can be a thankless task working in a pharmacy in todays age, let alone with all those requiring additional medical attention after pandemic, it is such a vital role that we all overlook until in need.
If an award could be given to a pharmacy, this one should be nominated Shani et al City Pharmacy.
Extremely professional, fast and friendly service. I can’t fault them one bit. I recently moved away but they’re so much better than other pharmacies that I just walk the 20 minutes there.
