DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST.
We have been with this dentist for years, back when we paid for our treatment (before tax credits due to cut backs at work) we were told we needed multiple fillings. As soon as it was on the NHS we suddenly didn't need fillings. This aside, today my daughter had an accident that required emergency dental work, phoned up and talked to the receptionist for about 10 minutes who then said "I will go and check with the dentist to see when an emergency appointment will be available" after 25 more minutes of waiting with my daughter sat next to me waiting for an outcome, the line goes dead. We then phone back up and there is no answer. This was before they close by a good 20 minutes.
TLDR: Dentist lies and receptionist hangs up instead of solving issues.
The dental service is amazing I’ve been going here since I was young never had a problem with the dentist always came out and got the help I needed however the receptionist is so rude (she’s been here for a while now)I’ve been spoken to rudely in the past by her when I needed help filling out the form. I called to check if I got the appointment time right she just said give me a second put the phone down for half an hour while checking other patients in that were there in this time I could here all the patients information (which should be kept confidential) such as name date off birth address etc which I find that should not be happening anywhere! Eventually I hung the phone up because I didnt get an answer for half an hour from her and I didn’t want to be invading other people’s privacy’s
I was so impressed by the service of this dentist. I've been trying to get my daughter into a dentist since she was 9 months old to no avail (nowhere takes anyone on- not even a child!?) she's now almost 3 and inevitably had needed to see a dentist immediately due to her complaining for a few days about pain. I called the receptionist who spoke to the manager and arranged a same day appointment so I could come in, register and also see a dentist. The receptionist was clearly extremely busy early in the morning but was polite, professional and helpful and also took time to speak to my daughter. The dentist was pleasant and checked my daughters teeth and advised on treatment going forward. I am so thankful to the receptionist who fitted us in and literally saved the day.
My daughter has a rare chronic illness that you were informed about , due to her illness we have missed 2 appointment , the 2nd being this morning , instead of being understanding you decided to kick her off your books even after I called to explain I was on the phone to the doctors at the time of her appointment . Shocked and disgusted
Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!! High turn over of staff, the owner is insulting, all about the money, will be reporting big time, do not go there
I was very grateful to my dentist today..I think her name is Dr Shanta Mestry in Surgery one room..She had to extract two of my back teeth as they had an abscess underneath..She's always very patient and understanding with me as I suffer with anxiety, especially with my face..If she couldn't get my roots out then I would have been referred to the dental hospital..With her professional dedication she saved me from that..She's has a friendly attitude and I can see she's dedicated to her work..I gave her a big hug after for her caring way towards me..So a big thank you to Dr Mestry and her team who work there :)
Registered with the practice have been for years, never had any issues until today when I tried to get an emergency appointment and was told no we don't do emergencies. So now left with no way of getting treatment
OMG I cannot tell you how thankful I am to Dr Sarra Vasdev and her lovely assistant who I'm sorry for not knowing her name. I have suffered with a wisdom tooth for many years where 3 x dentist before De Vasdev attempted to remove it without success. Dr Vasdev managed my tooth effortlessly. I never felt a thing . Even whilst she administered the injections. She was assertive but considerate to my comfort. She has an air of calmness about her and is so professional and thorough. I cannot thank her and her assistant enough. D Vasdev is exceptional in her dentistry. A lovely lady and an asset to her detail practice. I would definitely recommend Dr Vasdev especially to those that have a fear of dentists or previous bad experiences as she will immediately put you at ease. The whole Redditch dental practice is outstanding. From the moment you walk through the door you are welcomed. Every member of staff are warm..professional and go out of their way to put you at ease. I cannot say enough about this dental practice except to add.. that it is most definitely, as far as my experience goes .. head and shoulders above everyone else. Thank you Dr Vasdev and thank you to all the staff at the practice, I am so very grateful to you all ????Xx
