I called over 200 times in one day (no exaggeration) to get an appointment. Ended up getting one a month later. A day before the appointment they called to say the dentist is no longer available and that they can reschedule a 2 months later… Another appointment I had a year before this I KNOW the receptionist gave me the wrong time as you can see from other reviews how incompetent she is. I appreciate them saying they could fit me in but when the dentist checked my teeth he just said brush more and then ended the appointment, no clean no nothing. I was better off going home.

Very unprofessional and rude receptionist. Went to register and was told to fill out a form. Asked for a pen to fill in the form and was responded in an abrupt manner to give back the pen when done. After I handed in the form was told by receptionist she can’t give me an appointment as it’s too busy and to go. I told her I could have waited but she was too busy talking about her holiday on the phone. Avoid!!
FYI the 5 star reviews here are fake. Trust the bad reviews. These people drill teeth without anesthetic and one dentist didnt even know how to inject the anesthetic. Furthermore, they will create fillings for you without even removing the tooth decay. A shady practice that needs to be investigated for their treatment of NHS patients.
The receptionist does not answer the phone and will end the call if you dial too frequently (I would know, I once called 100+ times). Simply avoid.
I have had an excellent experience on each visit to the Church Road practice, with all staff being very professional and pleasant to interact with. On a range of visits over the years, all the dentists take the time to explain what needs to be done and provide valuable advice, whilst ensuring me as a patient is comfortable and at ease during the procedure. It's not easy finding a good dental surgery, I highly recommend the Church Road Dental practice!
If there was an option to give zero stars I would have gave that. This place is terrible the receptionists are extremely rude and their behaviour is not nice at the same time they talk to you whilst they are speaking with other people at the same time I asked the dentist to fix my tooth he said no I can’t do this you should
Do this through private dental care and they was very rude. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!
I’ve been going to this dentist for years
I have never once had any issues with them ~ they have done a lot of work on my teeth over the years and they have always done the work to a very professional standard.
It’s sad to see so many negative reviews on here
The receptionist who is always very kind to me is very busy but they now have extra staff to take phone bookings.
Personally I can’t fault anyone here

I needed an emergency appointment through 111 for my son and seeing these ratings had me feeling so anxious.
I feel very grateful that from beginning to end (which was extremely quick) we had a great experience.
The receptionist was kind, polite and smiling. We were called quite quickly and the dentist was again polite, kind and very gentle with my son. He removed the teeth and sent us with instructions on after care. I checked after and all the instructions were the same as what GOSH advises after teeth removal.
I dont normally write reviews but i hope someone reads this and feels less anxious about the overwhelming number of negative reviews.
Dentist did no x ray, no scale and polish and no recommendation until i asked for it. Started drilling into my filling without anesthetic. Ask for a white filling, wasnt even properly white. In the end I went to another dentist and could tell the difference between a good and a bad dentist.
