New to the area, thought I'd give this place a try earlier on tonight... 16th March 2024.
Disappointed is an understatement!
Extremely stingy portions of meat in all our food.
I opted for the house special chow mein, and counted 2 king prawns, 2 small pieces of pork, 2 small pieces of boiled chicken, and 2 small bits of the beef, which is very unsatisfactory.
My wife had a chicken chow main, and we counted 4 small bits of chicken in the whole thing, yet absolutely packed full with water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and beansprouts.
We bought a portion of shredded beef to share too, and there was about 3 pieces of actual shredded beef inside the entire tub, it was litterally just empty crunchy batter, that was spat out and binned.
Obviously won't be going back, and would advise others to take their business elsewhere, somewhere where you won't be conned like we were.
Definitely the best Chippy in Hyde!
Always fresh fish and chips on Friday's and the service is quick and efficient!

Just had sausage and chips.
Fresh and tasty.
In fact I ate the chips in under 2 minutes they were that nice

Chinese food is the best we’ve had. 4 stars due to not being much options for children, should offer children’s meals like most Chinese takeaways. Chicken nuggets aren’t nice, really bad processed chicken and my daughter won’t even eat them. Also portions are small for the price.
Amazing food. We regularly have a takeout here and highly recommend the ribs and singai vermicelli.
I ordered the King Prawn Chowmein and fish & chips. However, the portions seemed a bit small for the price, with only six pieces of prawns included. Despite that, everything was freshly cooked and tasted delicious. I would recommend trying the chippy. I'm giving it three stars mainly because it only accepts cash and the portions are slightly smaller compared to other nearby establishments.

Kung po chicken. Food was raw. Simply poured sauce over uncooked ingredients. Never again.
