Ordered a munchy box today. The food was uneatable. Everything apart from rice was way too salty. I will never use it again. Food ends up in the bin.
I live over a hundred miles away and I received a call from here. I was understandably very confused so I called them back trying to find out how they got my number and why they called me at that time I had no idea what business the number was even for. When they answered I just got laughed at as they insisted they didn't call me. After reading the reviews I wouldn't recommend eating here either ????
Peters food is and always has been top quality, he serves very generous portions, I have been going here for over 40 years and in this time I have never had a poor quality meal, i happily drive to Chuen Lee's for what in my mind is the best Chinese takeaway in the north east. Thanks again Peter and your staff.
Don’t take card payments and don’t let you know when you order, chips were lovely but the chicken in the chicken fried rice was like rubber I’m sorry but won’t be back
I've visited this Chinese takeaway twice after moving to the local area and WOW! Very tasty, good size portions, would highly recommend, the salt and chilli chicken was delicious although it was quite spicy (green chilli's) but would come back again! Thank you so much ????
Food is absolutely terrible, overcooked… extremely salty flavour to the curry sauce, chips are dreadful. Struggling to find any positives. Maybe a off night but that was horrendous the worst Chinese meal I’ve ever had.
Hello I purchased a Chinese takeout last night which I came and picked up my name is amanda that was the name I gave to the lovely owner who served me we were recommended this takeaway saying it was very nice so for my husbands 50th birthday I decided to order a chow mien 2x chicken omelettes prawn and chicken fried rice and lots more side dishes we got home I put it out and to my horror we were so disgusted we all felt like the sea had been added to the dishes it was so salty we were all sick we had to drink lots of water the rice was over cooked the curry wasn’t even runny it was just consolidated in the pots needless to say the whole of the dishes went in the bin the prawn crackers tasted quite good but unfortunately we wouldn’t come back again so that was £56 thrown down the drain I really think this matter should be resolved and rightfully refunded
Not usually I Chinese fan but this takeaway changes my opinion of Chinese food.
It's not the usual carton of salt.
The meat actually tastes like beef.
Most Chinese use a horrible sub standard meat not this one.
My dad feels the same as me about Chinese food, he said the food is lovely at this takeaway. I congratulate you on your standards, I can now enjoy a Chinese meal with my wife.
