The food at Christine's is always excellent. In a world of homogeneous offerings, having a little independent is like gold dust.

I drive up to Sawbo from Worthing twice a year for business and I always have lunch from Christine’s. The food is fantastic in every aspect. My girlfriend Lucy especially loves the cakes. This is the best bakery in the area.

This bakery is something special.
It's small and often has a queue outside but it's well worth the wait. There's always a nice variety of sweet and savoury in store freshly made and utterly delicious. We almost always get lunch from here if we're out around lunch time and it's very difficult to choose what to have.
Service is friendly and patient, they do take contactless now and they always seem to be trying something new. I particularly enjoy the chicken and mushroom Danish which doesn't sound like it would work but it's gorgeous.
The giant pasties are also amazing and closing my eyes evokes memories of sunny childhood holidays in Cornwall.
Love this bakery! Always delicious cakes, pastries, sandwiches, salads and more. We visit nearly every day!
We popped into Christine's bakery on our stroll around Sawbo on a Friday early afternoon after spotting the yummy looking baked choc cookies for our two older sons and a cake each for us both! I can honnestly say we all enjoyed eating them and we will pop in again when next in the area! Xx
