We’ve been to Llangollen many times but this is the first time we’ve ordered from Chopsticks. We had King Po King Prawn and Duck in Plum Sauce with Egg Fried Rice. It was delicious, plenty of vegetables which were all cooked to perfection. A very nice meal, we will certainly use Chopsticks again when we’re in the area.
Barely any meat per portion, loads of really nice veg though. BBQ ribs really nice. Rice & chips okay. Salt & pepper items had no spice. Sweet & sour sauce tastes vinegary.
Looked at the reviews beforehand as we were visiting Llangollen and thought we would give Chopsticks a try..We were sorely disappointed because we walked into the takeaway the reception was surly with no smiles or welcoming service at all,
which always puts me right off a place.
Picked up our food and for the price it was very average. If you are really hungry I would advise you to order a lot more than intended as the portions are really small. I won't be going back there in a hurry.
Terrible food! Meat dishes were mainly onions, satay sauce and gravy were inedible! £82 spent and most went in bin! Preordered on phone and then waited half an hour when we got there! Staff also rude. Never again!
Grabbed a takeaway for my family tonight. We usually go to Chirk but needed something in llan. The mushroom chow mein and chicken chow mein were lovely and even my daughter ate hers. My son's chicken fried rice was a little bland for him but he added soy sauce and said it was lovely and he had prawn toast which he loved too. The lady who served was very polite and friendly. Would definitely use again x
My hubby and I go here all the time - love the people and the food is piping hot, fresh and delicious. I am so sorry to see that there are a couple of not so nice reviews, but in the last 3 years, we've never had anything but great service and great food... hope you give it a try x
Rubbish take away closed an hour earlier than advertised. People in there but door locked. This takeaway needs to leave Llangollen been nothing but bad reputation since it opened. I hope they close down soon and give a decent takeaway a chance in our lovely town
Lovely food and the lady on the desk is an absolute sweetheart. We are locals and always use this takeaway for Chinese food. Not had a bad meal here and that is the truth... x
