We stopped off at Chitterne Village Hall on the 'Imberbus' Event on Saturday 19/08/23.
The Hall was serving a short but enjoyable menu at amazing prices & running an efficient, friendly all homemade Sandwiches & Cakes refreshments.
Good sized village hall where there was refreshments available for the Imber bus trip on Saturday 19th August 2023 - outside seating and toilets available on the day - great place
We held our Grandpa's 90th birthday here recently, (and also gran's wake a few months ago).
The hall is clean and well maintained. Good facilities and plenty of space for family events.
We asked people leaving the hall (locking up) if they could fill out dog s bottle as we were on an 8 mile walk. They declined, and the outside tap had its top removed, so you couldn't use it they pointed out a dog bowl with about a cm of dusty water in it. However, we carry mini pliers, so when they d gone, we used the tap!.
Not very friendly really.
Brilliant village hall with marvellous facilities. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. Great venue for a party or a meeting. Check out the website for pictures.
Visiting Chitterne on a double decker bus was a difference as the view from the top deck made for a pleasant journey.
A superb Wiltshire village - interesting church and village hall. Enjoy if your visiting the area.
Boxing day tradition, my second time of going there. This year had fewer hounds and riders as normal but overall good.
