It’s okay, the waiting area does look like it could do with a good clean. My sausage and chips was average, I ate it all, chips had quite a few bits of batter in them, the on wife’s Pie was microwaved a bit too long.
They display a food hygiene rating of 3 which is average, I’d agree with that.
My daughters swim nearby and this place is amazing. Freshly cooked, great tasting food and excellent value for money. If you haven't tried it, you need to. Friendly service with a smile!
My wife and my favourite local chippy. Food is always cooked freshly and fish is delicious. We think portions are generous. The staff are always welcoming and polite.
Had battered sausage, fish & chips. The sausage was ok. The fish was flimsy, skinny, greasy & soggy and also weirdly the batter was a dark colour. The chips were all stuck together and had loads of black ends. Ended up throwing the majority of it away. Disappointed

Ordered a take away of cod and chips.
Fish was dripping with fat and grease and full of bones, watery and undercooked disgusting mess. Chips were cold and also dripping in grease.
