Best KPortal Reviews

This place is the worst fish and chips I've ever had the displeasure to sample and I've been on this planet 55 years I wouldn't normally write a review. But it was that bad.
The food was cooked in looks like oil that hasn't been changed for ages, the chips were awful and obviously frozen chips and the fish batter was burnt outside with old back burnt specs of what looked like pepper but was actually from dirty old oil.
The fish was in edible dry and cremated..... These kids that run this place have not got a clue , going back tomorrow for a refund
Well where do I start...apparently it takes almost an hour to get fish and chips tonight 3 July 2021. As they decided to burn to vat chest of chips because the chef is so involved in other conversations instead of cooking. Then when my order is to be made, offers me the burnt chips that has been sitting there for 30mins. The fish batter was so wet and stoggy thatbtherebwas no crisp in the batter at all. After a lovely long wait for the chips this is the result.only fish been eaten and nothing else....a good price for a piece of fish. Stay away or maybe go at another time and not dinner time.

This chip shop should be closed down. They have all of park deans customers and they treat them with extremely slow service and when it finally comes the sausage in batters were like stone and the pie full of water and barely warm. Pickled onion was the size of a malteser. Chips were good and plentiful but took 40 minutes to get basically sausage and chips. Same as other reviews, staff spent more time talking and waiting for chips than actually doing anything. When I complained, they just say sorry we are waiting for chips constantly.
They give the park a bad name and must only get business due to it being very little choice at the park.
I will never go again and I'll tell anyone who asks to avoid like the plague.
Just wish I couldn't still taste it whilst writing this review.
Probably the worst fish and chips I've ever eaten, anywhere.
Awful burned batter, soggy anaemic chips.
Items missed on the order, didn't know until we got home then had to drive all the way back.
Medium cod was small at best, and the biggest kicker after all that is the extortionate cost, ten pounds for a single piece of fish, outrageous.
People generally don't mind paying a premium for quality food, but this was a long long way from that.
The chips were as tough as wood chips. The battered sausages were extremely overcooked and almost black in colour. The curry sauce was lumpy and disgusting and the food was extremely over priced. At £5 a portion of chips you would think they could actually have standards. The saddest part? Just outside of parkdean there is a chippy that can actually cook decent food. Avoid at all costs if you like value for money and gastric comfort.
The portion size of the chips were good but didn’t make up for the fact that they were not proper chip shop chips they were fries that the majority of were burnt.
The battered sausage was probably three inches long and cost £1.99 and was cold.
The scampi was undercooked and cold inside. But after waiting for 30m after standing in a que for 15m to be greeted by blunt staff. Would not recommend.
